Workshop on the
"Status and
Perspective of Biotechnology in Animal Feeds and Feeding"
organized
under auspices of the Animal Nutrition Association will be held on
11-12, March
2008
at Centre of
Advanced Studies in Animal Nutrition, IVRI, Izatnagar, India.
Nutrigenomics, biotechnological approaches to develop food-feed
crops, genetic improvement of plants for feed application, safety
and nutritive potential of genetically modified feeds, prospective
of prebiotics and probiotics on gut microflora vis-avis health and
disease, nutraceuticals and feed enzymes, biotechnological tools
for ameliorating mycotoxins and other incriminating factors in
feeds are some of the areas which will be discussed. For details
